Matic: Hazard's good ness is why he didn't shine in Madrid

The Belgian scored the only goal for Real Madrid

Manchester United's Nemanja Matić spoke about his former Chelsea team-mate and current Real Madrid star Eden Hazard and explained from his point of view why he has not starred in Spain so far.

Hazard has missed the Club's club in recent weeks due to injury, and before that, he did not provide the usual level of his time with Chelsea.

"Hazard's only problem is that he's a good person, and that makes him need more time to adapt," the Serb said with "Omni Sport."

He added: "At Real Madrid if you do not score in the first meetings you are criticized, or if you do not play well the criticism increases."

"The pressure is huge, but he's also been injured, but I'm sure in five or six months and next season he'll be back to be one of the best players in the world," he said.

Real Madrid will play on Sunday evening against Athletic Bilbao for La Liga, in the last meeting before the start of the winter break, which Hazard will miss due to his lack of recovery.

The Belgian was injured in the PSG meeting in the Champions League last month, and reports indicate that he has recovered and returned to participate at the beginning of the year.
