Former Real Madrid player wants to enter the world of training

Míchel Salgado, a former Real Madrid player, has confirmed that he is looking forward to working as a coach in the coming period.

Salgado is currently in the UAE to attend the Globe Soccer Awards.

The Spaniard said in televised remarks: "It is a special period for the Emirates, Cristiano is always there and it will be difficult to repeat a player like him, Messi is also a player we must enjoy his performance."

He continued: "For players, there is a great motivation when there are individual awards, it is true that football is a team game but there are some individuals we must reward."

"I miss coming back and competing in football again, I started in Spain now I have a special academy and I want to take the coaching field and I'm doing a good job," he said.

The 44-year-old has been training with the Egyptian national team as an assistant coach while Javier Aguirre coached the Pharaohs.
