Hazard looks forward to the derby against Atlético Madrid

Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has increased his chances of playing in the derby against Atlético Madrid after returning to training in recent days, Spanish newspaper AS reported.

Hazard suffered a right ankle injury during the Paris Saint-Germain game two months ago and missed all of Real Madrid's past games, but has recently returned to training.

Hazard continued to train with the ball, feels he has improved a lot on a physical level and looks forward to participating in the derby match to be held in early February.

The report added that Hazard's training with the ball is the last stage before joining the group training with the rest of his teammates and returning to participate in the matches, and all he needs now is to train with the group for a few days to be fully ready.

Manchester City vs Hazard and Real Madrid

Hazard is looking to enter the squad that will face Atlético Madrid next Saturday, even if he is involved as a substitute in the last 10 minutes, which will help him regain the sensitivity of the matches and speed up his return as a key player.

The report added that coach Zinedine Zidane wants hazard to be 100% ready and regain full fitness ahead of the match against Manchester City on 26 February next year in the round of 16 of the Champions League.

Zidane's plan is for Hazard to play Manchester City as if he had not been absent for two months, where he will be prepared with special care in the upcoming matches and until the team's most important match in the next stage.
