Juventus aim to join Real Madrid's James Rodriguez

Juventus are targeting Colombian midfielder James Rodriguez for the upcoming summer transfer window.

James Rodriguez returned to Real Madrid at the beginning of this season, having spent the last two seasons on loan for Bayern Munich, but did not book a place in Zinedine Zidane's main line-up due to his injuries, and has participated in only 7 games in La Liga so far and scored a single goal.

James Rodriguez may move to Juventus next season

Football-Italia quoted Spanish reports as saying that Juventus intend to enter into negotiations with Real Madrid to include James Rodriguez.

James was about to move to Napoli last summer at the request of his former coach Carlo Ancelotti but failed to reach an agreement with Real Madrid.

Juventus could move in the summer, with only one season left in James' contract with Real Madrid, which expires in 2021. The Royal Club wants to get a fee from selling it instead of leaving for free.
