The British newspaper continued that the Italian southern club wants to receive 74 million pounds, to agree to the sale of Ruiz.

"There have been a lot of changes at Napoli this season, it's been a tough year for the club," said Alvaro Torres, Fabian Ruiz's agent, in an interview with The Express.

In response to the fact that there are negotiations with the Napoli administration to extend the player's contract: "We postponed the negotiations until the end of the season, there are important clubs that have requested information, and we have already informed Napoli."

He continued: "There is no penalty clause in his current contract with the club, I don't really know the value of Ruiz at the moment."

The 23-year-old has played 32 matches since the start of the season with the Italian team in all competitions, scoring three goals and making two.
