All competitions in Spain suspended except two competitions due to Coronavirus

Spanish media on Wednesday morning revealed some new decisions issued by Spain on the future of the sport in general after the emergence of the coronavirus strongly in the Spanish countryside in recent days.

The Spanish Football Federation has issued an official statement announcing some decisions and steps following the recent outbreak of the coronavirus.

The Spanish government had earlier decided to play all the la Liga matches in the coming period without the presence of the crowd behind closed doors.

This decision was made to suspend all competitions for non-professionals, including The Second Division B, as well as the Third Division, and any competition related to women's football.

As for The Athletic Bilbao vs. Real Sociedad scheduled for 18 April in the Copa del Rey final, it is also expected that if the two teams refuse to play without fans, they will be postponed.
