Serbian star determines what Jović needs to shine with Real Madrid

Aleksandar Mitrović, the Serbian national, spoke about the difficult period of his compatriot and fellow player Luka Jović with Real Madrid, stressing that he did not get his chance to prove his ability.

Mitrović, who currently plays for Fulham, told The Standard: "When you're an attacker, the most important thing is to be on the pitch, I don't think he's got a lot of chances."

Mitrović: Jović needs a chance with Real Madrid

"You were in the same position as Jović in Newcastle, you were given 10 to 15 minutes, and you want to do everything in that period to prove your worth, especially if the value of your transfer deal is great," the Serbian attacking star continued.

Mitrović was convinced of his compatriot's abilities, saying: "I am convinced that if he fights some full games, he will start to score goals, he has to continue to work, believe in himself, and continue to train."

Jović moved to Real Madrid on a €60 million deal last summer from Germany's Eintracht Frankfurt, and jović has since scored only two goals for Real Madrid.
