One of Zinedine Zidane's main goals

Eduardo Camavinga, midfielder of French club Rennes, dealt a strong shock to Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Camavinga is considered one of Zidane's most important goals to strengthen the real center, where he tried to join him last summer but the financial crisis that the Spanish club is going through caused the postponement of the deal.

The player confirmed in a press conference, today, Thursday, that he wants to stay with Rennes and plans to sign a new contract with the French club.

Camavinga said: "Is there a possibility to extend my contract? Yes, there are negotiations going on with my father right now."

He added: "Am I going to stay at Rennes next season? Only the media is talking about my departure, all my focus now is on Rennes and I don't think about leaving."

The 18-year-old, with a market value of 60 million euros, is good at playing in many positions in midfield.

The young player has played in 23 games with Rennes in all competitions this season, scoring once and making two goals.
