A major requirement of coach Thomas Tuchel

The English club Chelsea have shown interest in restoring the Belgian winger, Eden Hazard, and signing him from Real Madrid next summer.

Hazard left the Blues in the summer of 2019, in a deal worth 100 million euros, to make the player fulfill his dream of working with coach Zinedine Zidane.

Things are not going as the Belgian star had wished, as injuries greatly affected his level and reduced his appearance in the Spanish team's jersey.

The Spanish site, "Defense Central", confirmed that Chelsea wanted to join Hazard again, but at half the price, by paying an amount ranging from 40 to 50 million euros.

This is based on the desire of Thomas Tuchel, the new coach of the Blues, as he wants the 30-year-old to be one of the main elements of his project at Stamford Bridge.

The German coach aspires to use Hazard's long experience in the English Premier League to lead the team towards winning the championships in the coming years.

Things are not yet clear about Real Madrid's position on this move, especially after the player's market value fell to only 50 million euros after it was 150 million euros in 2019.

It is noteworthy that Hazard has missed 43 full matches since moving to Real, and is currently away from the stadium due to a muscle injury suffered by the team's training last Wednesday.
