In search of new blood to rejuvenate Real Madrid’s squad, Zinedine Zidane is said to have a new Serie A target.

Toni Kroos, Casemiro, and Luka Modric have formed a very high-level midfielder, perhaps one of the best of the decade. With this trio, Real Madrid notably won four Champions Leagues, between 2014 and 2018.

But the time seems to have arrived for fear of them passing the torch. Thus, we have already seen Federico Valverde start to find a place, while the Spanish press announces that Florentino Pérez wants to recruit Eduardo Camavinga from Stade Rennais. But Zinedine Zidane also seems to have his trial...

Locatelli would have caught Zidane's eye

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, the Real Madrid manager will be following very closely Manuel Locatelli, a mid-23 currently at Sassuolo. Revealed at AC Milan, his training club, Locatelli has definitely exploded in recent seasons at Sassuolo and therefore seems to have caught the eye of Zidane.

His contract ends in June 2023 and he seems to be a pillar of Roberto De Zerbi's device and it will therefore be very difficult to tear him away from Sassuolo.
