Real Madrid has yet to reach an agreement with their captain Sergio Ramos on the renewal of his contract, which expires at the end of the current season.

Ramos wants to get the same current salary (12 million euros) in the new contract, but the club has asked for a 10% reduction to adapt to the economic conditions left by the Coronavirus crisis.

According to journalist Julio Pulido, for Spanish radio Cadena SER, Ramos is not considering signing another president.

"Ramos is very clear that he wants to stay at Real Madrid, and I think if he has to make an effort, he will in the end," Pulido said.

"The Real Madrid captain continues with the same intention, which has always been in his head, which is to continue at the club."

Spain's El Chiringuito recently reported that Real Madrid's offer is the best Ramos currently has.
