Ramos and Real Madrid's story nears the end

Spanish press sources revealed that Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has refused to renew his contract with Real Madrid and made the final decision to leave the royal team at the end of the current season.

In reducing his requests, many saw the operation he underwent yesterday as a sign that he is leaving and wants to make a full recovery so that there are no problems with the medical examinations with his new club.

But apart from this speculation and linking the surgery to his desire to leave Real Madrid, Ramos has decided not to renew his contract with the royal team according to journalist Siro López.

Ramos rejected the proposal for a two-year renewal with Real Madrid wanting to reduce his salary by 10% with the new contract compared to what he gets under the current contract, due to the coronavirus crisis.

According to this information, Real Madrid has already decided to abandon their captain and in the coming days, they will not make any further offer of renewal as the final decision for the two sides is that Ramos will leave at the end of the season.

Siro López, who is in charge of all this, points out that the club's captain and Real Madrid's most prominent defender in recent years has decided to bid farewell to the club despite the friendly relations between him and President Florentino Pérez.

According to the Spanish network "COPE", the operation will keep Ramos away from the stadiums for 6 to 7 weeks and maybe up to two months, which comes at a sensitive time of the season and with an unknown future for the player until the moment.
